Is the woman spinning clockwise or counterclockwise?According to this article, the way you see it spin tells you which side of your brain is dominant. If you try to engage the opposite side of your brain while not looking at the picture, you can make her switch directions.
I initially saw her spinning counter-clockwise, but was able to make her spin clockwise. How about you?

She doesn't spin in a full circle for me -- she just does a 180 and then changes directions. Going from 9 o'clock to 6 o'clock to 3 o'clock and then back to 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock again, and repeat.
Does that mean my brain is broken?

Sweet--all you really have to do to make it switch is turn your head away from the image to one direction or the other. If she's going clockwise, look to the right; if she's going counter-clockwise, look to the left.

Watch the bottom foot. You can't actually control anything. You can see her foot going clockwise, counter clockwise, back and forth, half-circle, etc. The brain has nothing to do with it.
I agree with Miss Foxy. When I looked at it, all of a sudden, it stopped and changed directions, kind of like the black cat in the first Matrix movie.
I saw clockwise. I closed my eyes, focused, and saw clockwise. I stared at her foot, and saw clockwise. I turned the laptop to show my boyfriend, and only as I turned the screen away from me did I see counter clockwise.
